Dak Prescott returned to Mississippi State’s campus after being injured in a post-concert fight while on spring break in Panama City Beach, Fla., on Monday night.
He was hit in the face with a bottle, but didn’t need to go to the hospital and police were not involved, AP reported.
Prescott and some teammates were at a Waka Flocka Flame concert when they were jumped in the parking lot, according to the Jackson Clarion-Ledger, which has more photos and video from social media accounts.
A Mississippi State spokesman said Prescott didn’t want to press charges.
Prescott is one of the top returning quarterbacks in the country after throwing for 3,449 yards and 27 TDs last season. He also ran for 986 yards and 14 scores as he led the Bulldogs to a 9-0 record and the No. 1 spot in the FBS.
They lost three of their final four games, including a 49-34 loss to Georgia Tech in the Orange Bowl.
