The South Carolina Gamecocks started off the 2015 season with a 17-13 win over the North Carolina Tar Heels.
It wasn’t a particularly pretty game and had surprisingly few points scored, considering both of these defenses were two of the worst in college football last season.
USC’s starting quarterback, Connor Mitch left the game early in the fourth quarter after his team scored the go-ahead touchdown. Mitch took a big hit and left the game with a hip pointer, according to multiple reports.
