Offensive lineman have a tough time finding recognition when they make plays, because often they’re making plays for someone else, whether it’s opening a hole for a running back or giving the quarterback just enough time to launch a 70-yard touchdown pass. The saying goes: You don’t hear an offensive lineman’s name called unless he screws up.
Mississippi State long snapper Winston Chapman is trying to change all of that.
The Bulldogs have released a video of Chapman showing off his snapping skills through a variety of tricks, and it’s impressive:
Chapman is a 6-foot-2, 240-pound senior and has started all three seasons he’s played. He’s also probably hoping this what he’s most known for this season, because if he’s in the game that means Mississippi State is punting.
