Todd Gurley is Heisman favorite in latest odds

The money is now on Todd Gurley to win the Heisman Trophy.

Of course, there’s nearly three months of the season to be played and votes aren’t due until December, so take that for what it’s worth.

Still, Georgia’s unstoppable running back rumbled to the top of the pack and is now the favorite — at 5-1 — to win this year’s Heisman Trophy, according to sportsbook Bovada.

There’s been a lot of movement at the top, with Gurley moving past Oregon QB Marcus Mariota, despite not playing last Saturday.

Jameis Winston’s dad says son has 2 more years at Florida State

You better get used to Jameis Winston in a Florida State uniform.

That’s according to his father Antonor Winston, who told AL.com that his son will play at least two more years at FSU.

“We want Jameis to succeed with one more year in baseball and two more years in football,” he told the website. “We’ve never strayed from our plan that he is going to be in college until he gets that degree.”

Winston is from Bessemer native and graduated from Hueytown High in Alabama.

Video of Jameis Winston walking out with crab legs is online

If you want to check out Heisman Trophy winner Jameis Winston leaving Publix with those famous crab legs, here’s the store’s security video.

Winston is wearing a long-sleeve black T-shirt, black shorts and some sort of flip-flops or sandals while leaving the Publix on April 29. The crab legs are plainly visible in the video released by the Leon County Sheriff’s Office.

Winston makes an appearance about 5 seconds into the video.

Winston was not arrested when police arrived at his residence around midnight and has completed 20 hours of community service. He didn’t face criminal charges.
